The 7th session of the "China Talent Training Program" was selected and the Shaanxi Xi 'an Summer Camp was successfully concluded

From May 10 to 12, 2019, the 7th Student Selection of "China Talent Training Program" and Shaanxi Xi 'an Summer Camp were successfully held in Xi 'an School of Tsinghua High School Attached to Shaanxi Province。The project is jointly initiated by the Working Committee for Caring for the Next Generation of the Ministry of Education, the High School affiliated to Tsinghua University, and the China Talent Development Fund of the China Next Generation Education Foundation，The summer camp activities have been strongly supported by leaders and teachers of Shaanxi Provincial Committee of Customs, Baishui County Government, Yanchuan County Government, Baishui County Education Bureau, Yanchuan County Education Bureau, Tsinghua High School Attached to Xi 'an School，The activities were successfully implemented。

On the afternoon of May 10th, under the guidance of the leader teacher, the students successively came to Tsinghua High School Attached to Xi 'an School to register, submit personal registration materials and receive related items。In the face of the unfamiliar environment and teachers, the students were a little nervous and introverted, but at the same time, they were full of curiosity and longing for the content of the next activity。

During the summer camp, the students participated in the "Happy Meeting" activity, and successively conducted psychological tests, comprehensive ability tests, logical thinking tests, interviews, etc。A series of activities not only test the usual learning results, but also let the students understand their own lack of knowledge and ability in various aspects。In the interview process, the students also said that they have realized their shortcomings in some aspects of knowledge through the test, and will work harder and make progress in the future。

At noon on the 11th, the teacher of the project team had a discussion with two students of the second session of the "China Talent Training Program" to understand their study and life situation in the third year of high school, the intention of filling in the college entrance examination, etc., and encouraged the two students to make the final sprint before the college entrance examination, wishing them to be admitted to the ideal university。

On the afternoon of the 12th, the talent show and party activities were planned and organized by the students themselves, and the whole activity was rehearsed by the students themselves, wrote the host speech and presided over。The activity was well received by both teachers and students。

The party ended with the chorus of "Invisible Wings" by all the students, and the students expressed their positive attitude of chasing their dreams through singing。

After the event, the students expressed their thoughts on the activities of the summer camp。They said that whether they were selected or not, they exercised themselves through this selection activity, increased their knowledge, made friends and were full of harvest。

The summer camp in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province was a complete success。The project team will use multi-dimensional selection criteria to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the students, from which 10 students will be selected to participate in the training program of Tsinghua High School for five consecutive years。
